Gregori Robinson

Gregori Robinson is an internationally acclaimed Designer, dedicated to the renaissance of Art Nouveau. Greg owns Studio 55 Productions in Delta, Ontario. His work is inspired by Antonio Gaudi and other Architects and Artists of the Art Nouveau Movement

His imaginings are fueled by the Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts movement of the last century. It’s both head-turning and breathtaking. The curves and lines and colours were a pointed breakaway from Traditional Art and Furniture Design

Gregori says of his work, “I’m excited and passionate about Art Nouveau. It’s a time in history where art and architecture were one. So a stained-glass window wasn’t just put into a square frame and that was that. The work was designed to be part of the whole environment.”

Of his unusual and complex shapes Robinson says, “what can make great creations interesting are basic and inexpensive materials. I used a common and simple construction product, MDF, medium-density fiberboard to make the frames for my stained glass, a kind of an undiscovered miracle material to work with. You can do much more fluid and curving lines.”

Gregori’s work can be found in galleries, homes and institutions throughout Eastern Canada, the U.S, Mexico and Paris, including major private and public collections.
